Affiliate relationships do not buy inclusion, placement, a score, or kinder copy. Hotels cannot pay to enter the register, and booking partners do not review editorial pages before publication. A page can contain both independent editorial work and a clearly identified commercial booking link.

Prices, availability, payment, cancellation, refunds, and the stay itself belong to the booking provider. Folio does not sell rooms or take payment. The provider's current page and terms control the booking.
Every hotel page is researched across the property's official site and independent publications. Each published fact is traced to a named source and carries the date we last checked it. Statements about what staying there is like are only published when at least two independent sources report the same thing. Agreement is labelled as agreement, and where reports genuinely split, the page says so instead of smoothing it over.
The checks are enforced, not aspirational: a page that cannot support its own claims stays out of search results until it can, quotes must appear verbatim in their source, and an editor signs off before a page is considered finished. No placement is sponsored, and the hotel never sees a page before you do.
Property facts and imagery come from named official, editorial, open-data, owned, or licensed sources. Folio does not copy booking-site descriptions, guest reviews, or unlicensed photographs. Live prices or availability appear only when an approved partner expressly licenses that data.
